Costume World Photo Contest - Contest Rules – Online Giveaway

1. How to Enter the Contest:
(a) The Costume World Online Photo contest (hereby referred to as “Contest”) will run only on the date listed above.
(b) To participate in the Contest, viewers must go online, to www.weareaustin.com, click on the Halloween Contest icon on the home page, and upload or vote for favorite photo.
(c) Four Points Media Group of Austin, Inc. (hereinafter “Station” or “CBS42 KEYE”) is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, misaddressed, incomplete or illegible entries. Station is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, dropped cell phone calls, or dropped land line phone calls, phone line connections, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Station determines, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the Station reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its conclusion date, notice will be posted at www.keyetv.com. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Station which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Station reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Station reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or KEYE website or violates the Official Rules of the Contest. Station further reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or entry at its sole discretion.
(d) Broadcasts are subject to preemptions and scheduling changes. If such changes occur they will be posted on the website: www.weareaustin.com
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
(a) The Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. residents at least 18-years old, must live within the KEYE viewing area (as determined by Nielsen); and have a valid contact phone number or email address. Employees of CBS 42 KEYE-TV, Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc., Four Points Media, Cerberus Corporation, other television and radio stations in the Austin market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and the immediate family members or persons living in the same household with respect to any of the foregoing are ineligible to participate or win.
(b) Viewers are eligible to win a CBS42 KEYE-TV contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.
(c) By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and grant to Sponsors the right to edit, publish, promote and otherwise use their entries without further permission, notice or compensation.
3. Prizes:
(a) The winner of the Halloween Photo Contest will receive a one hundred dollar costume rental from Costume World. Costume World is located at 8207 Burnet Road, Austin, TX, 78757. No purchase is necessary.
(b) Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize of comparable value.
4. Selection of Winners:
(a) Decisions of Sponsors with respect to the contest are final.
(b) Winner must claim prize from the KEYE Studios no later than Wednesday 11/9/09, 530p. KEYE lobby hours are Monday-Friday, 830a-530p. KEYE is located at 10700 Metric Blvd Austin 78758. A valid ID must be presented to claim prize.
5. Conditions:
(a) All federal, state and local taxes and incidental fees are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Winner will be required to provide winner’s Social Security Number and a copy of current government-issued photo identification in such form as requested by CBS 42 KEYE-TV, and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release and W-9 tax form before the prize is delivered.
(b) By participating in the contest, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Sponsors the right to use the winner’s name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release Sponsors, Four Points Media Group, their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.
6. Sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest which will become effective upon announcement.
7. No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
8. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.
